The Bihar School Education Board (BSEB) chairman Anand Kishore announced that the board will conduct Bihar Board Class 12 compartment and special exams separately. He also informed that the word "compartmental" will not be mentioned in the mark sheet of students appearing in the BSEB Inter special exam. 

Students should score a minimum of 33% in each subject to pass the Bihar Board Class 12 exam 2024.

In the Bihar Board Inter exam 2024, a total of 87.21% of candidates have passed. Out of these, 5,24,939 candidates passed in the first division, 5,04,897 candidates passed in the second division, and 96,595 candidates passed in the third division.

The passing percentages across different streams are as follows: 94.88% of commerce students passed, 87.80% of science students passed, and 86.15% of arts stream students passed.

A total of 11,26,439 students declared passed in Bihar Board Class 12 Result 2024. Out of this, 5,52,783 female and 5,73,656 male students passed the exam.

In the Bihar Board 12th Science stream of the intermediate annual examination, 2024, a total of 6.17 lakh candidates participated. Among them, there were 3.95 lakh boys and 2.22 lakh girls.

Tushar Kumar was the topper in all three streams in the Bihar Board 12th result. Tushar Kumar from the Arts stream topped all the streams in the state by scoring 482 marks (96.40 percent). 

The Bihar Board has recently published the list of students who have achieved the top 5 positions in each academic stream this year. Bihar Intermediate annual exam 2024 concluded on February 12, 2024. A total of 25,157 candidates have passed in the first division, 10,678 candidates in the second division and 1,794 candidates in the third division in the Bihar Board Commerce stream of Intermediate annual examination 2024. Thus, a total of 37,629 candidates have passed in the Commerce Faculty, which is 94.88% of the candidates appearing in the examination of this faculty.

A total of 39,658 candidates appeared in the Bihar Board Commerce stream Intermediate annual exam 2024, in which there are a total of 26,338 boys and 13,320 girls

Bihar Board Arts stream saw 1,73,823 candidates passing in the first division, 2,84,454 candidates in the second division, and 88,344 candidates in the third division. This brings the total number of candidates passing in the Arts stream to 5,46,621, which accounts for 86.15% of the total candidates who appeared for this examination.

In the intermediate annual exam of 2024 for the BSEB Science stream, a total of 3,25,848 candidates have successfully cleared the first division, while 2,09,705 candidates have achieved the second division, and 6,455 candidates have secured the third division. Consequently, the Science stream has witnessed a total of 5,42,008 candidates passing the exam, accounting for 87.80% of the total number of candidates who appeared for the examination. 

In the Bihar Board 12th Science stream of the intermediate annual examination, 2024, a combined total of 6,17,334 candidates participated. Among them, there were 3,95,069 boys and 2,22,265 girls.

Using new software developed by the board in 2020, the processing of the 12th result 2024 has been completed. This new software is 16 times faster than its predecessor in terms of processing speed.
