The Haryana School Education Board (BSEH) has changed the rules for correction in the details of the Haryana board applicant’s certificate, such as their name, parents' names, and date of birth, after three years from the date of issuance. As per the revised rules, corrections can be made by submitting the required documents to the board.

For correction in the certificate regarding the candidate’s name, their parents' names in the certificates can be made by submitting any two public documents from the certificate branch.
The documents can include school records or public documents like birth certificate, residence certificate, caste certificate, family identity card, PAN card, voter card, driving license, along with the prescribed proforma, verified by the concerned school where the applicant last studied, to the BSEH board office with the prescribed fee.
Additionally, for corrections in the details of applicants’ DOB in the certificates issued, from the year 2000 onwards, after three years from the date of issuance, can be made by submitting the school record or a public document in which the birth certificate is mandatory.
In addition to this, any one public document from the family identity card, PAN card, driving license, along with the prescribed proforma, verified by the concerned school where the student last studied, to the BSEH board for a change in DOB.
Notably, the DOB correction can only be made in the certificates issued before the year 2000, only after the orders of the board Chairman, as per rules based on merit.
