BTech Admissions 2025 LIVE: JoSAA final seat allotment on July 16; edit TS EAMCET preferences by July 15

BTech Admissions 2025: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will declare the JoSAA counselling 2025 seat allotment round 6 results on July 16. The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) will declare the TS EAMCET final seat allotment results 2025 on July 18, as per the schedule.
TGCHE has declared the Telangana Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) 2025 mock allotment results. Candidates have been given an opportunity to exercise their options by July 15 on the official website, tgeapcet.nic.in. TS EAMCET seat allotment results 2025 will be declared on July 18.
Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Chhattisgarh has also issued the CG Pre-Engineering Test (CET) round 2 merit list 2025 on cgdte.admissions.nic.in. The CGPET admission 2025 process will be conducted from July 17 to 20. The CGPET round 3 merit list will be issued on July 27.
Candidates who have been allotted seats in JoSAA counselling 2025 have to download their seat allotment letter and report to the allotted college to confirm their admissions. Candidates can either confirm their seats or accept their willingness to participate in the next round of JoSAA counselling 2025.
Joint Admission Committee (JAC) has also announced JAC Chandigarh round 1 seat allotment 2025 results on jacchd.admissions.nic.in. The last date to confirm the JAC Chandigarh BTech admissions 2025 is today. As per the schedule, the withdrawal after the first round of seat allotment will be held tomorrow, July 15.

KCET Counselling 2025: Option-entry again disrupted
The KCET choice-filling 2025 has been again disrupted due to server errors. Acknowledging the delay, KEA said in a post on X, "Due to technical glitches in KEA servers after enabling UGCET-25 option entry, delays are expected. We regret the inconvenience caused. Candidates are advised to prepare choices in advance and log out after saving." Notably, the authorities had extended the choice-filling deadline for KCET counselling 2025 after candidates reported network issues.

TNEA Counselling 2025: Group flags ' 13,861 ‘suspicious faculty at TN engineering colleges
Recently, civil society group Arappor Iyakkam has raised concerns about fraud across hundreds of private engineering colleges in the state. The group has alleged that nearly 400 affiliated engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu lack infrastructure and qualified faculty. Talking to Careers360, the group's convener Jayaram Venkatesan alleged that both Anna University’s affiliation process and All India Council for Technical Education’s (AICTE) are to be blamed for these irregularities.
