The google map link embedded in the electronic version of the CAT admit card may be of particular help to locate the exam hall.

Carry CAT admit card and 1 photo ID proof - This is the ticket to enter the examination hall. You cannot afford to forget your admit card of CAT (print the admit card in an A4-size paper, preferably using a Laser Printer for clarity). Additionally, carry any one of the following photo ID proofs (valid and original) -

  • College ID
  • Employer ID
  • Driving License
  • Passport
  • PAN Card
  • Voter ID
  • Aadhar Card
  • Identification Affidavit

Check what you wear - You should wear simple clothes and avoid wearing jackets, scarves, and shawls as you would need to remove them before entering the exam hall. Try to wear a shirt, pullover, sweater, cardigans, kurta, t-shirt, jeans, trousers, etc, which are devoid of any pockets. Female candidates should avoid wearing makeup, mehndi, and fancy hairstyle. Footwears will not be allowed, however, candidates can wear socks and slippers.

Do not carry bags, folders, electrical gadgets - Remember, you will not be allowed to carry anything inside the hall except for the admit card and photo ID. All your personal belongings such as mobile phone, bag, wallets, Jackets, Jewellery, watch, electronic gadgets, stationery items, etc. will have to be deposited at the Test Centre Entrance Gate, however, the guards will not be responsible for your belongings.

A strict NO to last-minute revision - You are ready for the test! So, no last-minute revision as this may lead to forgetting what you have learnt and practised resulting in bad decision-making skills. Avoid starting any new topic or revising now; just keep your mind off studies for a while and try to do things that interest you! Be calm and steady.
