Know the Changes in CAT 2020 Exam:
-
This year, there was a change in the CAT exam pattern in view of the COVID-19 scenario. The duration of CAT 2020 has been reduced from three to two hours.
-
Each section of the CAT is reduced from 60 to 40 minutes in each section, with Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Aptitude (QA) - 40 minutes.
-
MCQs have a negative mark for every wrong answer, while non-MCQs will not be penalized for a negative score on the CAT exam 2020.
Candidates were not shocked by the changed exam pattern and most of them find it easy to understand the questions in different categories.
Last year, candidates reviewed the paper harder, with questions of size and math sections having more difficulty levels. The results were announced on January 4.
