CAT 2020 exam convenor Harshal Lowalekar has confirmed that the official website of CAT, iimcat.ac.in is likely to go live today. In an email response, Lowalekar has confirmed that CAT 2020 exam and other details will also be released on the CAT official website. Indian Institute of Management, Indore is conducting CAT 2020 exam. However, confirmation is yet awaited on whether CAT 2020 registrations will start today or at a later date. CAT notification 2020 is also expected to be released today when the webiste goes live.

CAT 2020 exam dates
While the CAT notification is expected today, registrations may start in the first week of August. The window for CAT registrations generally is open for around 45 days every year and this year, its expected to be the same.
CAT 2020 - new changes expected
On account of the COVID -19 pandemic situation, it is expected that the number of CAT exam centres may go up considering the social distancing norms and guidelines that have to be followed. However, this news is yet to be confirmed and the exact details will be know with the release of the CAT notification.
CAT exam pattern, syllabus and marking scheme
With widespread speculations on changes in CAT exam pattern on account of the COVID scare, the convenor had earlier given a statement asking candidates not to put stock into these speculations and that any decision in this regard would be taken at a later stage after reviewing the situation. Candidates can get the details of the CAT 2020 exam pattern along with the syllabus and marking scheme in the official CAT notification.
