CAT 2021- Admit card to release on October 27 at iimcat.ac.in; Exam on November 28

NEW DELHI- Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad will release the CAT admit card in online mode on October 27. Candidates will be able to access CAT admit card by visiting the official website- iimcat.ac.in. Only candidates who have successfully registered for CAT 2021 can download admit card by using the login credentials such as ID and password. IIM Ahmedabad will conduct the CAT entrance test on November 28 in 159 cities across the country. On the day of CAT 2021, candidates will have to carry the same for the verification process.

IIM Ahmedabad will conduct CAT 2021 in three different shifts. Along with original CAT admit card candidates will be required to carry a photo ID proof on the day of examination. The CAT question paper will have 76 questions. These questions will be asked from three sections Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Aptitude (QA). On the day of CAT MBA entrance test candidates are not allowed to take any prohibited item inside the exam hall.

How to download CAT admit card 2021

CAT 2021 admit card will be available in online mode only on the official website of IIM CAT. In order to download CAT admit card candidates can refer to the following steps.

• Visit the official website of IIM CAT- iimcat.ac.in

• Click on the “Login” tab

• Now enter CAT login ID and password

• Click on download and save the CAT admit card in system

• Take a print out of CAT admit card for future reference

Errors to check in CAT admit card 2021

Right after downloading CAT admit card candidates must check that all the details mentioned are the same as the information mentioned on the CAT application form.

• Name of candidates should be same as in the CAT application form

• CAT 2021 registration number must be same as the registered user ID

• Caste category should be same as in CAT application form

• Date of birth should be same as mentioned in the CAT application form and other official documents

• CAT exam centre must be from one of the options mentioned in the CAT application form 2021

CAT exam day instructions

There are certain CAT exam day guidelines which one needs to follow on the day of examination. Check out some of the major CAT exam day instructions laid down by the exam conducting body.

• Candidate must carry two copies of CAT admit card along with one original photo ID proof

• Writing pad and pen will be provided inside the examination centre for rough work

• Candidates must reach the exam centre as per the reporting time mentioned in the CAT admit card

• Candidates are not supposed to sign the CAT admit card beforehand. The admit card needs to be signed inside the exam hall in front of the invigilator.

• Candidates must paste their photo same as the uploaded at the time of CAT application process

• Mobile phone, pager, calculator, Ipad etc are not allowed in the examination hall
