When asked about his CAT exam preparation strategy, the CAT 2021 topper says, “For VARC and LRDI, one should remember that your efforts will take some time to show before they convert into marks. So it is very important to stay patient and consistent throughout the preparation stage. I would advise solving at least 2 RCs daily with a deep-dive analysis and for 2-4 quality sets daily for LRDI with proper analysis. For QA, conceptual clarity is everything.”
To effectively solve CAT questions on exam day, Siddhant says that candidates must keep their ego aside. According to him, if one cannot solve questions from his/her strongest topic, they need to move on further on other questions. It must be kept in mind to minimize the time wastage during the CAT exam and maintain a good level of accuracy and speed.
The 99+ CAT percentiler has already started his GD/PI preparation post CAT exam results and would like to make a long-term career in consulting.
In his message for CAT 2022 aspirants, the CAT 2021 exam topper says, “Consistency is extremely important during the entire journey of the CAT preparation. You will face a lot of crests and troughs in this journey, but always keep working patiently and do not stray away from your goals. Eat well, sleep well and stay healthy. A conscious effort on building the right mindset is advisable and I can assure you it will go a long way in helping you succeed.”
