NEW DELHI: This year, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore will conduct the Common Admission Test (CAT 2022) for business administration programmes admission at IIMs. CAT 2022 exam will be held on November 27.
CAT Convener Professor Ashis Mishra told Careers360, "CAT 2022 will be held on November 27, the advertisement regarding this will be released on July 31. The official website will go live on August 1, the website will have details of application process, exam date, admit card release date." According to the official, the CAT 2022 application process is likely to commence from August 3, 2022.

CAT entrance exam is held every year for admission to MBA/ PGPM/ Executive MBA/ PGDM and other management programmes offered by 20 IIMs. Apart from IIMs, leading management institutes, including the IITs (Management Courses), SPJIMR (Mumbai), Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), and other leading private colleges, also consider CAT scores valid for MBA admission.

While filling out the CAT 2022 application form, applicants will also have to provide their past academic qualification and will have to pay the CAT exam fee at iimcat.ac.in. CAT syllabus 2022 includes verbal ability and reading comprehension (VARC), data interpretation and logical reasoning (DILR), and quantitative aptitude (QA).
