NEW DELHI: The CAT exam date 2023 is November 26, 2023 (Sunday). IIM Lucknow will conduct the CAT entrance exam in three shifts. With just 6 days to go for the CAT 2023, it is crucial for all the aspirants to stick to a last-week preparation strategy to avoid last-minute stress. Attempt only those mocks similar to the actual CAT exam and revise topics one has already studied focusing and prioritising strong areas. Candidates taking IIM CAT 2023 can follow the given last-minute preparation strategies to appear for this MBA entrance with confidence and a positive attitude.

There is not much left to prepare for the CAT exam in the last week. But there certainly are a few do’s and don’ts one can go along with in the last week to remain in the right state of mind and maximise the candidate’s CAT percentile.

  • Revise from the notes and formula book prepared at the time of CAT exam preparation.
  • Reduce the time spent on difficult topics instead, tackle more number of easier-to-moderate level questions that you are confident about attempting in the CAT 2023.
  • In the last week only focus on your strengths, the topics that you have prepared well, to maximise your scores in that area.
  • On the day before the CAT exam avoid long study or revision sessions. Indulge in some recreational activity to relax your body and maintain a positive state of mind.
  • In the last week, candidates can check and analyse the past year CAT papers and CAT cutoffs of the top B schools. This will give them an idea of the number of good attempts needed to crack the CAT exam 2023. They can then tailor their CAT exam day strategy based on this analysis.
