NEW DELHI: Common Admission Test is scheduled on November 26. Around 3.3 lakh candidates are likely to appear for CAT 2023. It is important to focus on each section of the CAT exam 2023 to qualify for the sectional CAT cut offs. Among all the three sections, the QA section can be the deal-breaker for the CAT aspirants. CAT QA section examines the conceptual understanding of mathematical concepts and theories. How to ace CAT 2023 Quant section
Plan study schedule
CAT preparation requires a well-structured study pattern. In these last days, candidates can divide the days and hours for each chapter and prepare a study plan. Focus on preparing the topics having high weightage.
Time management
The QA section requires a lot of calculations and is time-sensitive. Candidates are advised to set up the timer before starting the CAT mock tests so that they can keep a record of their speed.
Use on-screen calculator
Use the on-screen CAT exam calculator introduced by IIMs for the CAT exam. It is an additional advantage to candidates who lack calculation skills. Candidates are advised to use it even while practising CAT mocks to get used to it and save time in the exam.
Revise formulas
Candidates must revise the key formulas and concepts regularly to retain them. Make handy notes for all the mathematical formulas so that it becomes easy to revise.

Candidates are advised to download the CAT 2023 admit card before the CAT exam date to avoid last-minute hassles. It is important to carry the admit card to the test centre for verification purposes.
