CAT 2023: Registration begins at iimcat.ac.in; Direct link, steps to fill form

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow has started the registration process for Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023 today, August 2, 2023. The last date to fill out the CAT application form 2023 and payment of the fee is September 13, 2023, by 5 PM. Candidates interested in appearing for CAT 2023 on November 26, 2023, can apply online at iimcat.ac.in.

Candidates are advised to check their eligibility before starting the CAT registration 2023. As per the eligibility criteria mentioned in CAT notification 2023, candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree, with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PwD categories) to apply for the CAT 2023 exam.

Applicants must keep a recent passport-size photograph, signature of the candidates, academic record, and work experience certificate (if any) before filling out the CAT registration. To complete the CAT form 2023, candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs.2400 for the general category and Rs.1200 for the reserved category.

Candidates applying for CAT 2023 should note that the mobile number and email address provided by the candidates will be verified through the OTP sent to the email address and mobile number while registering. Subsequently, applicants will receive a user ID and password through which they can complete the CAT registration process.

CAT Registration 2023: Steps to fill the application form

• Visit the CAT 2023 official website and click on the “New Candidate Registration

• for CAT 2023” link.

• Register by creating an account by entering a valid email ID and phone number.

• With the system-generated CAT login ID, log in again.

• In the next window, enter the essential details (address, academic qualification, work experience) and submit the required documents.

• Pay the CAT exam fees and submit the form.

• Download, and take a printout for further use.

According to the CAT exam date 2023, candidates can access and download their CAT 2023 admit card from October 25 onwards. The CAT admit cards will mention the exam details including names of the candidates, CAT exam centers, and CAT hall ticket numbers.
