NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta concluded the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 on November 24. The MBA entrance test was held for 3.29 registered candidates in 175 examination cities across India for admission to IIMs and participating B-schools. As per the students who appeared and experts the CAT 2024 exam was moderate in terms of difficulty level.

Students who could not do well in the CAT 2024 exam, can consider other MBA entrance exams for admission to top business schools in India.
The next big MBA entrance exams are SNAP, XAT, MAT, CMAT and ATMA. These five are all national level entrance exams and their scores are accepted for admission to MBA colleges in India.
The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) 2024 exam is scheduled on December 8, 15 and 21. SNAP scores are primarily used for admission to 16 institutes under Symbiosis International University. The admit cards are likely to be released on December 2, 9, and 15, 2024 respectively.
Candidates are allowed a maximum of three attempts. If a candidate takes the test multiple times, only the highest score will be considered for the final percentile calculation, with no normalisation applied. The SNAP 2024 registration process concluded on November 22.

Candidates with a graduate degree and a minimum of 50 per cent marks or an equivalent grade point average are eligible to apply for the SNAP 2024 exam. For reserved category students, the minimum requirement is 45 per cent.
The All India Management Association conducts Management Aptitude Test (MAT) four times a year. The test offers admission in MBA and PGDM courses in over 800 business schools in India.
The MAT December session will be conducted in CBT and PBT modes and registration window is currently open. Candidates will be able to register for MAT 2024 exam till December 15, 2024. Conducted by AIMA, MAT scores are accepted by over 800 B-Schools in India.
XLRI Jamshedpur will conduct the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2025 on January 5, 2025. The XAT 2024 scores are accepted by about 800 B-schools in India.
The XAT 2025 registration last date is November 30, so candidates who are not satisfied with their CAT performance must attempt XAT 2025. The XAT exam will be held from 2 pm to 5:30 pm across the country. XLRI has established 100 test centres across the country for this year's exam.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the CMAT 2025 examination in online mode. Candidates can apply for CMAT 2025 through the official website - exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT. The CMAT exam will be conducted on January 25, 2025.
The CMAT 2025 registration window is open till December 13, 2025. CMAT score is accepted by over 1300 MBA colleges in India, which include private as well as government institutions.
Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) conducts AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) for admission to postgraduate management programs like MBA, PGDM, and other related courses in various management institutes across India.
Over 750 MBA colleges in India accept ATMA scores for admission to their management programmes. The ATMA 2024 registration process for December exams is underway and will end on December 11, 2024. Candidates can also opt for ATMA exam in February 2025.
