Use NowNEW DELHI: The Common Admission Test 2024 (CAT 2024) schedule is out. As per the schedule, CAT 2024 exam will be held on November 24. The CAT 2024 registration will begin on August 1. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to fill up the CAT 2024 application form by visiting the official website, iimcat.ac.in. The CAT 2024 registration deadline is September 13.

As per the CAT 2024 schedule, the admit card will be issued on November 4. Candidates will be able to download the CAT 2024 admit card till November 24. The detailed CAT notification 2024 will be announced soon on the official website. The CAT 2024 official website is iimcat.ac.in. The CAT 2024 exam will be held in three shifts – first shift will be from 8:30 am to 10:30 am, second shift from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm and third shift from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm (as per past trends).
CAT 2024 application fee
Candidates are required to pay the CAT 2024 application fee to complete the registration process. The CAT 2024 application fee for General category, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates is Rs 2,500. Whereas, candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Person with Disabilities (PwD) categories are required to pay the CAT 2024 registration fee of Rs 1,250.
CAT eligibility criteria 2024
As per the CAT 2024 eligibility criteria, candidates are required to hold a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA to register for the MBA entrance exam. However, candidates belonging to reserved categories such as Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories, are required to obtain 45% in bachelor's degree.
CAT 2024 exam pattern
The CAT 2024 exam will have three sections -- verbal ability and reading comprehension (VARC), data interpretation and logical reasoning (DILR), and quantitative aptitude (QA). There will be a total of 66 questions in CAT 2024 paper. As per CAT 2024 marking scheme, candidates will get 3 marks for each correct answer and one mark will be deducted for each incorrect response. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
