CAT 2024: IIM Sambalpur admission criteria for MBA programme; reservation policy, sectional cutoff
IIM Sambalpur has marked exit from Common Admission Process (CAP) 2025 and will independently manage admissions for MBA and MBA in business analytics programme.

NEW DELHI : The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sambalpur has announced the admission criteria for the Masters in Business Administration (MBA) programme for the batch 2025-27. There are 320 seats available for the 11th batch of MBA 2025-27 admissions.
Recently, IIM Sambalpur also introduced changes in its admission process. The institute has now marked its exit from Common Admission Process (CAP) 2025 and will now independently manage admissions for its MBA programme.
The new system will include admissions for both MBA and MBA in business analytics programme. Additionally, the institute will also offer flexibility to attend personal interview rounds either in person or online.
IIM Calcutta announced the results of the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 on December 19. Candidates who have appeared for CAT 2024 and have selected IIM Sambalpur as one of their preferences will be considered for admission.
Candidates will be shortlisted based on their CAT 2024 scores, followed by a personal interview round and then a final merit list.

Candidates must note, that male candidates have at least one year of relevant work experience, and female candidates in the general category, their cutoff percentile will be reduced to 85.
