NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta will conduct the CAT 2024 exam on November 24, 2024. The CAT exam will be held in CBT Mode in 3 slots at 170 test cities across India. Eligible candidates can register for the CAT 2024 by visiting the CAT official website, iimcat.ac.in 2024. The official will open the CAT registration 2024 window on August 1, 2024, at 10 am and the chance to fill out the CAT application form 2024 will be available till September 13, 2024, at 5 pm.
Candidates who scored 95+ percentile above in the CAT 2024 can apply for the top B-Schools in India like IIMs, FMS Delhi, MDI Gurgaon, SPJIMR, IIFT, TISS etc. The IIM Fees for MBA through CAT come around Rs. 15 lakh to Rs. 25 lakh. Applicants can dedicate at least 6 to 7 hours daily to CAT preparation to clear the CAT 2024 exam.
Around 21 IIMs, 8 IITs and 1000+ B-Schools in India offer MBA/PGP/PGDM admission based on the CAT 2024 marks. Candidates who completed the 3 year bachelor’s degree from an approved university with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised university. In addition to this, applicants who are in the final year of the undergraduate programme or waiting for their UG results are eligible to apply for the CAT exam.

How to apply for CAT 2024?
Candidates who meet the CAT exam eligibility requirements can follow these steps to fill out the CAT exam application form 2024.
Step 1: Visit the CAT official website to apply for the CAT exam 2024, iimcat.ac.in.
Step 2: Click on the 'New Candidate Registration' to create an account and generate CAT login credentials to complete the CAT application form.
Step 3: Use the CAT login credentials, email ID and mobile number to log in to the account.
Step 4: Candidates can enter their personal and previous academic details to complete the CAT registration 2024.
Step 5: Choose at least 5 CAT exam cities from 170 available cities.
Step 6: Upload the necessary documents in the prescribed format and size for verification.
Step 7: Pay the CAT exam fees through any online mode of transaction to complete the CAT exam 2024 registration.
Step 8: Click the submit button to submit the CAT application form.
Step 10: Print out the CAT exam registration form for future reference.
CAT exam fees 2024
As per the CAT notification 2024, The Indian Institute of Management has increased the CAT registration fee 2024 to Rs. 100 for general and Rs. 50 for reserved categories respectively. CAT exam fees for OBC and general are Rs. 2,500 and Rs. 1,250 for the special categories like SC/ST/PWD.
