NEW DELHI: The Common Admission Test 2024 (CAT 2024) official website has been launched. The CAT 2024 official website is iimcat.ac.in. The CAT 2024 registration will begin from August 1. The deadline to submit the CAT 2024 registration form is September 13. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to access the CAT 2024 form by visiting the official website. The CAT 2024 exam date is November 24.

CAT is a national-level entrance exam conducted in India for admission to various postgraduate management programs, primarily the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programs. The CAT is conducted annually by one of the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) on a rotational basis.
According to the CAT 2024 schedule, the admit card will be issued on November 4 and can be downloaded until November 24. The CAT 2024 exam will be conducted across 170 cities in three shifts: the first shift from 8:30 am to 10:30 am, the second shift from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, and the third shift from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.

The CAT 2024 exam will comprise three sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Aptitude (QA). The CAT 2024 exam will be held in online mode. The medium of exam will be English. The exam will include a total of 66 questions. According to the CAT 2024 marking scheme, candidates will earn 3 marks for each correct answer. However, one mark will be deducted for each incorrect response in multiple-choice questions. It is important to note that there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers in non-multiple-choice questions.
