As per the CAT 2025 attendance report , around 2.58 lakh candidates appeared for the exam out of 2.95 lakh registered applicants. The exam was conducted at 339 centres across 170 cities in India.
Candidates need to enter their user ID and password to download the CAT 2025 answer key. IIM Kozhikode has also published the CAT 2025 response sheet, which includes the recorded responses and the question paper.
Along with the answer key, IIM Kozhikode has opened the objection window, and candidates can submit their objections on the CAT 2025 answer key till December 10. To raise objections, candidates must attach supporting documents to validate their claims.
Candidates will have to pay Rs. 1,200 for each question to raise their objections against the provisional answer key.
Using the CAT provisional answer key, candidates can calculate their probable score by adding 3 marks for each correct answer, deducting 1 mark for each incorrect answer, and ignoring unattempted questions.
CAT Answer Key 2025: How to download?
The steps to check and download the CAT 2025 answer key and response sheet are given below.
- Go to the official CAT 2025 website, iimcat.ac.in.
- Click on the “Download CAT answer key 2025” link.
- Enter the required login credentials, login ID and password.
- The CAT answer key PDF will be displayed
- Download the provisional CAT answer key and response sheet
Subject experts will review the objections submitted by the candidates, incorporate the necessary changes and publish the CAT 2025 final answer key. The CAT exam result 2025 will be prepared and announced based on the final answer key. IIM Kozhikode will tentatively declare the CAT 2025 results in the first week of January 2026.
The CAT 2025 exam was conducted online on November 30 in three shifts: Shift 1 from 8:30 am to 10:30 am, Shift 2 from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, and Shift 3 from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
