NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad, the conducting body of the CAT exam, is going to close the CAT application form window on September 15. Students seeking MBA admission at IIMs, FMS, MDI, IITs, SPJIMR, etc, and interested in appearing for IIM CAT can fill up the CAT exam registration 2021 form within the next 3 days at the official CAT 2021 website iimcat.ac.in. In order to complete the CAT application process, students have to pay the CAT registration fees of Rs 2200 for the general category and Rs 1100 for the reserved category.

This year, the Common Admission Test (CAT 2021) is scheduled to be held on November 28 (Sunday) in computer-based (online) mode in three sessions at over 420 test centres in 158 cities across the country. Students who completed a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% of aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC/ ST category) from a recognized university/ institute are eligible to apply for CAT 2021.

IIM Ahmedabad has removed the minimum marks criteria (45% and 50%) to appear for the CAT exam 2021.
Students with “promotion/ pass” instead of “award of marks” certificates in any of the last two years (2020-2021) of the bachelor’s degree can enter the “promotion/ pass” option in the CAT application form 2021.

Step 1: Visit the official CAT website - iimcat.ac.in
Step 2: Next, find and click the “New Candidate Registration” link on the right middle of the CAT home page.
Step 3: Then, enter the essential non-editable information to create the CAT 2021 login credentials such as Name, Email ID, Phone number.
Step 4: After entering the information, click on the tab called “Generate OTP”. The OTP will be sent to the registered email ID
Step 5: Next, log in to the dashboard using the CAT login credentials (CAT application number and password/ date of birth) and fill the CAT application form 2021 with the required details.
Step 6: Upload all the documents required for CAT registration 2021 in a prescribed format and size.
Step 7: Choose the prior work experience details (if any), and select any six preferred CAT test cities.
Step 8: Finally, make a payment of the CAT registration fees in online mode using any payment gateway and submit the completed application form of CAT 2021.
