NEW DELI: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore is all set to conduct CAT 2022 on November 27. Meanwhile candidates can download their CAT admit card on iimcat.ac.in, using their login credentials. Candidates should know how many questions to answer in order to achieve their target CAT score and percentile.
CAT exam will be divided into three parts and for each section candidates are provided 40 minutes. They have to answer a section within the given time. Candidates must know how much marks they will need to achieve the target percentile. For example, candidates will have to secure overall 45 marks for 80 percentile. Similarly, for 85 percentile, they will have to obtain a total 51 marks. Just do 2 more questions, and the percentile will increase by 5 percentile. Provided below is the expected CAT scores based on the previous CAT percentile.

Besides overall score, candidates should also secure a good sectional score. They should know how many questions they will be required to do in each section. For example, to get 95 percentile in QA, they need to answer 10 questions correctly.
