NEW DELHI: CAT exam date 2023 is November 26. With the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023 approaching in just a few days, MBA aspirants should prioritise their preparation by focusing on revising through CAT mock tests and CAT previous year question papers. IIM Lucknow has recently activated the official CAT 2023 mock test link on the official website - iimcat.ac.in. CAT exam 2023 aspirants can access the official CAT mock test using their registration number and password.

The CAT 2023 mock test closely imitates the actual CAT exam which can help candidates devise an exam-day strategy, understand time allocation and type of questions asked in the CAT entrance exam. Additionally, practising the previous year CAT exam question papers is also suggested by CAT toppers and experts as they help candidates understand the CAT syllabus, paper pattern, CAT important topics and their weightage.

With just 10 days left for this MBA entrance exam, along with practising and analysing mock tests, candidates should focus on minimising errors, and working on weaker areas. They can follow the below-mentioned last-minute CAT preparation tips to ace this entrance.

Tips to follow in the last 10 days of CAT exam 2023

The following CAT preparation tips will help candidates strengthen their performance and boost their confidence during the CAT entrance exam.

  • Brush up on basic concepts in quant, reasoning, and integrated reasoning to ensure a strong foundation. Avoid preparing any new topic in these last days and try strengthening the areas having high weightage in exam.

  • Revise using handy notes prepared during CAT preparation without delving into deep solutions.

  • Try and test different strategies for attempting questions. Focus on high accuracy rather than attempting all questions in the CAT paper 2023.

  • Work on improving speed and managing time, particularly for the CAT quantitative section, to optimise performance.

  • Take breaks and plan leisure activities like watching movies or pursuing hobbies to relax and rejuvenate your mind to avoid last-minute stress.

  • Maintain a healthy lifestyle with a balanced diet, sufficient sleep, and avoiding illness to ensure peak performance during the CAT exam.

  • Keep all the necessary documents like CAT admit card, ID proof and candidate’s photograph a day before the exam to avoid any last-minute hassle.

CAT admit card 2023 was released on November 7. Candidates gearing up for CAT 2023 must download the CAT admit card and carry the same to the test centre on the day of the exam to seek entry and other verification purposes.
