Around 2.58 lakh candidates appeared for the MBA entrance exam held at 339 test centres across 170 cities in India. The CAT final answer key was published on December 17. Since the exam was conducted in three slots, the marks obtained by candidates will be normalised. The CAT percentile obtained by candidates will be declared tomorrow.
Only those candidates who obtain the minimum CAT cut-off percentile fixed by IIMs will be shortlisted for the second-stage of selection process, which involves written ability test (WAT) and personal interview.
Candidates must note that the selection process may differ for different IIMs. The institutes will also consider candidates’ previous academic performance, work experience, and the composite score obtained in all stages of the selection process, including the interview round.
