As per several media reports, most of the students found the Hindi paper "manageable" and followed the expected pattern.
Teachers noted that the questions were straightforward and clear, allowing students to effectively demonstrate their understanding and writing skills across the different sections of the paper.
CBSE board exam 2026 for Class 12 began on February 17 and will end on April 10. Around 16 lakh students are expected to appear for the Class 12th, which is being held for 114 subjects.
As per media reports, the Class 12th Hindi paper was aligned with the prescribed syllabus, which assessed comprehension, analytical abilities, and writing skills of students. Another subject expert noted that the Class 12 Hindi paper was structured in a way that allowed students to clearly demonstrate their understanding of key concepts.
However, some students noted that the literature section of the Hindi paper required more detailed answers, which increased the difficulty slightly.
Notably, some students also observed that the unseen poem section required deeper interpretation and analytical reading, as they needed to carefully understand the meaning and context to answer accurately.
Compared with other sections of the paper, this part demanded more thoughtful engagement from the candidates.
CBSE will conduct the Class 12 Hindustani music vocal board exam 2026 tomorrow. To pass the CBSE board exam 2026, students need to score atleast 33% marks in each subject. Students who score less than 33% marks will have to appear for the compartment or improvement exam to qualify.
