CBSE 2026 Exam LIVE: Class 12 Hindi paper tomorrow; exam pattern, question paper analysis, answer key

CBSE has introduced on-screen marking for evaluating Class 12 board examination answer scripts, while clarifying that Class 10 answer sheets will continue to be checked in physical mode. The board also announced that starting in 2026, the Class 10 board examinations will be held twice a year — the first phase from February 17 to March 6 and the second phase from May 5 to May 20 — for more than 20 lakh students.

CBSE will develop competency-based assessments for its skill subjects aligned with the standards of the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA). Additionally, semiconductor technology will be introduced as a new skill subject for students in Classes 8 to 12, and the AI course from Class 3 onwards will be introduced in the academic year 2026-27.

As per subject experts, the CBSE 12th Maths paper was "moderate" in difficulty level. The section-wise difficulty level is shown in the table below.

The Himachal Pradesh education minister Rohit Thakur has informed that CBSE has granted affiliation to 151 government schools in the state, which will switch to the CBSE curriculum from the upcoming academic session onwards. Notably, he informed that 7,635 tablets will be distributed to meritorious students by the end of this month to strengthen digital learning.

As per subject experts' and students' reactions, the difficulty level of the English question paper was overall easy, and most of the literature questions were competency-based. To qualify for the Class 12 English exam, students must score at least 33% in the CBSE Board exam 2026.

Students need to score at least 33% marks to pass the CBSE Class 12 Hindi paper 2026. 

CBSE Class 12 Hindi theory paper contains 80 marks, while 20 marks will be given for internal assessment, totally the paper worth 100 marks.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the CBSE Class 12 Hindi board exam 2026 tomorrow, March 16.

The board will conduct the 12th Hindi paper from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. The CBSE Class 12 Hindi core elective paper will be held for a duration of three hours.
