CBSE Class 12 Result Timeline: Past trends
The board used to announce the date and time at least a day in advance, but has discontinued this practice. In 2023, the board posted on X (then Twitter), informing that the result would be announced within 30 minutes.
| Year | Result Date |
| 2020 | July 13 |
| 2021 | July 30 |
| 2022 | July 22 |
| 2023 | May 12 |
| 2024 | May 13 |
| 2025 | May 13 |
Past trends indicate that the board follows a consistent timeline for announcing results. Accordingly, the results are expected on May 12 or 13. Usually, Class 10 and Class 12 results are released together; however, this year, the Class 10 Term 1 results were announced earlier to help students decide whether to appear for the CBSE Class 10 Term 2 exams.
