CBSE Board Exam 2021: Practical exams to be reconducted for COVID-19 affected students

CBSE said if any student or their family member tests positive for COVID-19, the school will conduct practical exams of such candidates latest by June 11.

Apply NowNEW DELHI : In the wake of a steep rise in the number of COVID-19 cases, the CBSE has decided to re-conduct practical exams for Class 10 and 12 students who test positive for the coronavirus. As per the announcement, “If any candidate is absent in practical because of being COVID-19 positive or any family member – mother, father, brother and sister, etc – is reported COVID-19 positive, schools will conduct practical of such candidates at an appropriate time in consultation with the concerned regional officer but latest by June 11.”

In any case, schools have to re-conduct the practical of any absentee candidate latest by June 11, 2021, and marks be also supplied to the Regional Office without fail, the circular read. If marks of any candidate will not be available with CBSE, his/her result will be computed without marks and status will be reported as per Examination Bye-Laws, the circular added.
In case request has been made to CBSE to change the practical centre
If any candidate has shifted to some other city or country because of COVID-19 and requested CBSE to change the practical centre. While uploading the marks of the batch of the candidate, against the name of such candidates “T” may be uploaded or posted on the link for uploading of marks.
CBSE 10th & 12th Board Exams 2021 dates have been already announced by the CBSE. CBSE Board Exam 2021 will start on May 4, 2021, and will end on June 14, 2021.
