Since the NTA is conducting the JEE Main 2021 exam in four sessions, many students are confused regarding the number of attempts they should give. Below, candidates can check the reasons why candidates should prefer appearing in JEE Main 2021 April session.

JEE Main 2021: Why should you apply for the April exam?

  • More preparation time

The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly affected the way students prepare for the entrance exams. Therefore, one of the advantages of appearing in the JEE Main April 2021 exam is that candidates have gained a considerable amount of time to prepare. More time means better preparation and high confidence level.

  • Easy access to the question papers with new exam pattern

The NTA introduced some major changes in the JEE Main 2021 exam pattern. The authorities have successfully conducted the two sessions of JEE Main 2021 and have released the JEE 2021 questions paper with answer keys. Candidates appearing for the JEE Main 2021 April or May session can get themselves familiarised with the new pattern and modify their preparation accordingly.

  • Familiarity with the topics having high weightage

Another reason to apply for the JEE Main 2021 April exam is the availability of the list of topics with weightage. Using the JEE Main paper analysis for February and March session, candidates can know the topic-wise weightage which will help them to score better.

  • Another chance to score better

With the increase in the total number of JEE Main 2021 attempts, students now have four chances to crack the exam. The NTA will consider the best of four scores for the preparation of the rank list. Therefore, all candidates who were unable to give their best in the first two sessions still have a chance to ace the JEE Main 2021 exam.
