NEW DELHI: Ministry of Education has cancelled the CBSE Class 10 exams and postponed the Class 12 exams 2021. This decision has been made in a meeting held by Prime Minister Narendra Modi with education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ and CBSE officials today on April 14, 2021. CBSE board exams have been cancelled and postponed due to a surge in COVID-19 cases in the country and to safeguard the health of the students.

Students showed a mixed reaction to this decision. Some of them are satisfied with the decision, whereas others are asking the ministry to postpone the competitive exams too.

The students of other boards have also requested the Union Education Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, to postpone the state board Class 10, 12 exams.

Several students are requesting the CBSE board to conduct the CBSE board exams 2021 for Class 12 in online mode in the respective schools itself.

CISCE board students have requested the education minister to cancel the ISC and ICSE board exams 2021 as well.
