Check NowDelhi Police has issued a special traffic advisory to help students appearing for CBSE Class 10 and 12 board exams in Delhi reach their exam centres without any hassle. The CBSE board exams are starting on February 17, while Delhi hosts the international AI Impact Summit. The arrival and movement of guests around Bharat Mandapam has already made many roads in central Delhi out-of-bounds for residents.
In a post on X, Delhi Police said that traffic personnel have been instructed to provide assistance to students travelling to exam centres. Students carrying their CBSE admit cards or date sheets will be given priority and help to ensure they reach their centres on time.
The police said that coordination has been made with schools and education authorities. They also said that nodal officers have been deployed to support students where needed. A briefing has been given to the Traffic staff on duty to minimise the inconvenience to candidates taking the CBSE Class 10, 12 exam and facilitate smooth transportation.

To avoid delays on CBSE exam days, students and parents are advised to plan their travel in advance, leave for exam centres early, and follow traffic announcements.
CBSE Class 10, 12 exam 2026
The CBSE Class 10 and 12 board exam 2026 will be conducted from February 17 to April 10 for around 46 lakh students at over 8,000 exam centres in India and abroad.
For CBSE Class 12 , the exams start with Biotechnology, Entrepreneurship and Shorthand (English and Hindi), followed by Physical Education. For CBSE Class 10 , the exams start with Mathematics Standard and Mathematics Fundamentals.
This year, the Central Board of Secondary Education has introduced several new initiatives, including conducting the Class 10 board exams in two phases – the first phase from February 17 to March 6 and the second phase from May 5 to May 20 – to help improve students' scores, and introducing on-screen marking for Class 12 answer sheets to make evaluation faster and more efficient.
