CBSE Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship 2025 renewal, fresh application open till October 31

CBSE: CSSS 2025 application is open for both fresh candidates and renewal for the years 2024, 2023, 2022, and 2021, on the official website, scholarships.gov.in.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started accepting applications for the Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship (CSSS) 2025 for renewal for the years 2024, 2023, 2022, and 2021. Both fresh and renewal applications for CSSS 2025 are open on scholarships.gov.in, till October 31.
The CSSS 2025 application is open for 1st renewal for the year 2024, 2nd renewal for 2023, 3rd renewal for year 2022, and the 4th renewal for year 2021, as per the official CBSE notice.
Candidates are advised to apply for CSSS 2025 within the given deadline and also get their online applications verified by the institutions. Candidates might also have to show their original documents to the institute, else the application will be rejected and treated as invalid.
The CSSS 2025 is offered for college and university students sponsored by department of higher education, ministry of education, government of India.
“All the Nodal officers of Institute are requested for timely verification (verify, defect, reject) of the online applications at their institute login,” the CBSE notice reads.
For the CSSS 2025 scholarship renewal, students should have a minimum 60% marks in the respective year of the study, attendance of atleast 75%, and no disciplinary violations. The CBSE scholarship can be availed for five subsequent years, for both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programmes.
