Students who failed to clear one or two subjects in the CBSE main exams will be eligible to appear for the CBSE Class 10 , 12 compartment exam 2025. The CBSE Class 10, 12 compartment exam 2025 date sheet will be available on the official website at cbse.gov.in. The board declared the CBSE 10th , 12th results 2025 today, May 13, with a pass percentage of 93.66% for Class 10 and 88.39% for Class 12.
The board has revised the order of post-result activities for the CBSE Class 10, 12 exams 2025. Under the new process, students will now have to first obtain a photocopy of their evaluated answer books, allowing them to review their responses and awarded marks. Based on this, they can then choose to apply for mark verification or re-evaluation of specific answers, or both.
CBSE allows students up to three attempts to clear the compartment exam 2025. The first attempt is held in mid-July. The second attempt takes place in March or April of the following year, while the third is conducted again in July or August of that same year.
CBSE 10th, 12th Compartment Exam 2025: Previous year’s records
Last year, the CBSE Class 12 compartment exam was conducted on a single day on July 15. A total of 1,22,170 students appeared for the CBSE Class 12th compartment exam. The Class 12 compartment exam result was announced on August 2, with a pass percentage of 29.78%.
The CBSE Class 10 compartment exam was held from July 15 to July 22. A total of 1,32,337 students appeared for the CBSE Class 10 compartment exam. The CBSE 10th compartment exam result was declared on August 5.
