Apply NowNEW DELHI : The Central Board of Secondary Education may promote CBSE Class 10 and 12 students on the basis of the internal marks. The Board may also allow the students to appear for the 10th, 12th examinations once the situation normalises if they wish to improve their scores, as per the Indian Express report.
Earlier, the CBSE Board released the revised Class 10 and 12 exam dates 2020 . As per the revised date sheet, the exams are all set to be conducted from July 1 to 15, 2020. However, it is expected that the Board might not conduct 10th and 12th examination as the Coronavirus cases are consistently increasing in the country.
If the exam will be postponed further, the students may face difficulty in getting admission in several universities for higher education. Recently, Parents demanded cancellation of CBSE July 2020 exams , parents turned up to the Supreme Court requesting for the cancellation of Class 10 and 12 exams. Therefore, CBSE Board officials had two meetings with the HRD minister this week regarding the same. The Board will intimate about this decision and respond to the plea until Tuesday.
“States which have wrapped up (their exams) will start their admission process (for colleges and universities) soon. CBSE students will be left behind if their exams are postponed beyond July 15,” said a government official, as reported by Indian Express .
