The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the class 10 second board exam admit cards 2026 on its official website cbse.gov.in. Registered students who will be appearing in CBSE session 2 exams scheduled between May 15 and May 21, can check and download their hall tickets now.

The exam for over 6 lakh students will be conducted in a single shift between 10:30 am and 1:30 pm. CBSE highlights that no students will be allowed to enter the examination centre after 10 am. Therefore, students should plan their travel, keeping in mind weather and traffic conditions, and reach the centre well before the reporting time.

Students must come in proper school uniform and carry both their school ID card and CBSE-issued admit card. Only permitted stationery items are allowed. Electronic devices, including mobile phones, are strictly prohibited inside the examination centre.

How to download CBSE admit card?

Private students can download the admit cards from the official website, whereas regular students must contact their schools to collect a physical copy of CBSE class 10 admit cards 2026.

Visit CBSE official website cbse.gov.in

  • Look for latest@CBSE section
  • Click on the link that reads, "Release of Admit Cards for the Second Board Examinations Class X 2026"
  • Admit card release notice will open up on screen
  • Go through the PDF and download the same

For the first time, CBSE is conducting two board exam opportunities, giving students another chance to improve their performance if they were unable to score well in the main or session 1 exam. A total of 6,68,854 regular candidates have registered across both categories. Out of these, 85,285 students have opted for the compartment exams, 5,25,655 for improvement, while 57,914 candidates will be appearing for both categories.
