CBSE Parenting Calendar 2026-27: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched a parenting calendar for the academic year 2026-27 to strengthen the partnership between parents and schools to promote overall well-being of students. Notably, to highlight its relevance, new and improved components have been incorporated into the parenting calendar.

These include dedicated sections on inclusion, which promote awareness, sensitivity, and equitable practices for students, and coping with changes, which support parents and students in adapting to curriculum changes and evolving academic expectations.

“Building on this momentum, the CBSE Parenting Calendar 2026-27 further strengthens and expands this vision by institutionalising structured engagement between schools and parents,” the official CBSE notice reads.

According to the official CBSE press release, the parenting calendar also features dedicated sections on inclusion – addressing awareness, sensitivity, and equitable approaches for diverse learners – and coping with changes, which guides parents and students through transitions brought about by curriculum updates and evolving academic expectations.

As per the official CBSE press release, the live launch event saw participation from school principals, teachers, counsellors, wellness educators, and parents, who gained insights into the objectives and implementation of the parenting calendar.

Additionally, the section on parenting workshops has been improved. It now includes a developmental approach to parenting, which helps schools create workshop programmes that are relevant to their specific contexts.

The parenting calendar is designed to foster meaningful parent-child interactions, strengthen the home-school partnership, and serve as a practical guide for parents to participate in their child’s developmental journey.

Overall, CBSE board aims to create a nurturing, inclusive, and supportive environment for the holistic development of every student.

CBSE’s initiative is aligned with the NEP 2020, and it has received an encouraging response from stakeholders across the country, reaffirming its impact.
