Several students are not happy with the CBSE's decision to hold exams for private students. They are tweeting with #PromoteCBSEPrivateStudents and demading their promotion.
If CBSE is claiming that they don't have data of CBSE Private Students.

Then please let me know how NIOS and other State Boards are promoting their students. They also don't have data of their students.
Even CBSE have records of their students.#PromoteCBSEPrivateStudents
Private students of CBSE are also demanding to promote them so that they can save their year.
CBSE private students should be promoted so that at least they do not lose one valuable year of their career. #PromoteCBSEPrivateStudents#vaccinatestudents @dpradhanbjp
