CBSE Class 12 result evaluation criteria 2021: Committee to submit report on June 18, says report

NEW DELHI: The CBSE committee is in the final stage of developing the CBSE Class 12 objective criteria 2021. As per a report of NDTV, the committee will submit its report on CBSE Class 12 result evaluation criteria on June 18, 2021. Based on this report, a final CBSE Class 12 evaluation criteria will be released and results will be prepared accordingly.

The criteria is being developed for evaluating students whose Class 12 exams were cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic. The CBSE exams were cancelled in the interest of students after a high-level meeting chaired by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.

The board was directed to develop fair objective criteria for evaluation and declare CBSE Class 12 results 2021 in a ‘time-bound manner’. On June 4, the board set up a 13-member committee to decide the criteria within 10 days.

Besides scores of Class 12 pre-board and internal exams, most of the panel members are in favour of giving weightage to Class 10 and Class 11 scores, the report added.

Students who will not be happy with the marks awarded as per the CBSE Class 12 objective criteria will be given a chance to appear for exams. Such an option will be provided by the board after the announcement of CBSE Class 12 result 2021.
