CBSE to conduct tier 2 exam for superintendent, junior assistant posts on July 5

CBSE Recruitment 2025: The recruitment drive will fill 212 vacancies. Tier-2 admit cards with schedule and centre details will be released two days before the exam.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the schedule for the tier 2 exam for the post of superintendent and the skill test for the post of junior assistant. As per the official notice, the CBSE tier 2 exam for the superintendent post will be held on July 5, 2025.
The CBSE will also conduct the typing test for junior assistants from July 3 to July 5, 2025. The board stated that the exact date of the typing test will be updated shortly in the candidates' application login. CBSE tier 2 admit cards for both exams, along with the schedule and exam centre details, will be made available two days before the exam.
The CBSE recruitment drive aims to fill 212 vacancies for the posts of superintendent (Group B) and junior assistant (Group C). Of the total vacancies, 142 are reserved for the superintendent post and 70 for the junior assistant post.

CBSE Recruitment 2025: Tier-2 exam only in Delhi
As per the official notice, the CBSE tier 2 exam for both superintendent and junior assistant posts will be held in Delhi only. Candidates who appeared for the Tier-1 exam on April 20, 2025, in cities other than Delhi, Noida, Faridabad, Gurugram and Ghaziabad, will be reimbursed for their travel. CBSE will provide sleeper class (non-AC) train fare for to and fro journeys.
“The candidates who have appeared in Tier-1 examination (held on 20th April 2025) in cities other than Delhi/Noida/Faridabad/Gurugram/Ghaziabad will be paid to and fro Sleeper Class (Non-AC) Train Fare,” the official notice said.
To claim the amount, candidates must submit copies of their train tickets and a cancelled cheque of their bank account during the Tier-2 or typing test. The reimbursement will be transferred directly to the candidates' bank accounts.
