The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will declared the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET 2026) paper 1 and 2 results soon. Candidates will be able to download the CTET result 2026 on the official website, ctet.nic.in. CBSE will award the CTET certificate to candidates who qualify for the exam.

Since the CTET exam is of 150 marks, the general category candidates need 90 marks to pass, whereas the reserved category candidates must secure 82.5 marks to qualify.
Candidates who clear paper 1 are eligible to teach Classes 1 to 5, while those who pass paper 2 can teach Classes 6 to 8. CTET certificate serves as the minimum qualification required for a teaching job. The CTET certificate is now valid for a lifetime, which was previously valid for only 7 years.
