NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will announce the CBSE date sheet 2025 soon for Class 10, 12 board exams 2025. CBSE board exam date sheet 2025 will be announced on the official website, cbse.gov.in. CBSE board exams 2025 are slated to commence from February 15, 2025 for around 44 lakh students.

Recently, the board clarified that there are no changes in the CBSE syllabus 2024-25 for the upcoming board exams. Nor has CBSE increased the weightage of the internal assessment system. The statement came after some media reports suggested changes in CBSE board exams 2025.
CBSE practical exam dates 2025 have been announced already. CBSE practical exams 2025 will start from January 1. The winter-bound schools are already conducting practicals for Classes 10, 12 which will end on December 5.
As per CBSE subject-wise marks distribution , each subject in Classes 10, 12 has been allotted a total of 100 marks which is disseminated amongst theory, practical exam, project work, and internal assessment.
Moreover, the board reminded schools that 75% attendance is mandatory for students to write CBSE 10th, 12th board exams 2025. For the first time, the board has introduced CCTV policy in the board exams 2025 for Class 10, 12.

CBSE Board Exams Datesheet 2025: Passing criteria
The passing criteria for the CBSE Class 10 and 12 board exams are as follows:
- Theory Exam: Students must score a minimum of 33% in the theory examination of each subject.
- Practical/Project/Internal Assessment: Students must secure at least 33% in the practicals, projects, or internal assessments, if applicable.
