NEW DELHI: Giving a huge relief to the students, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) decided to cancel the remaining exams for Class 10 and 12 on Thursday.
Soon after the announcement , ecstatic students expressed their joy by sharing memes on social media. While some were praising the board for cancelling the exams others took a jab at the toppers.
Due to the rising number of coronavirus cases, parents and students have been demanding the cancellation of exams.
As per CBSE’s decision, Class 12 students will be evaluated and awarded marks based on the last three exams they have taken. The board assured that the exam will be conducted when the situation normalises. Students will be given the option to appear for the exam later on if they wish to improve the marks obtained.
