The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the Class 10 Term 1 exam result 2026 on the official websites of CBSE at cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.nic.in. Students can check their result by using multiple ways, including Umang app, Digilocker, Online, and SMS. The step-by-step process to download the result via the UMANG app is given below for easy reference.

To check the CBSE 10th class result 2026, students can follow the steps given below:

  • Download the app from the google play store or apple app store.

  • Register or log in using the mobile number and go to the ‘Education’ section.

  • Select or search for CBSE services within the app and then click on the CBSE Class 10 result/marksheet option.

  • Enter required details, including roll number, school number, admit card ID, or date of birth and then submit.

  • The CBSE Class 10 result 2026 will be displayed on the screen.

  • Download the marksheet and take a printout for further reference.

CBSE Class 10 Result 2026: Exam statistics

As many as 24,12,072 students registered for the Class 10 board exams this year, which were conducted at 8,075 centres. The examinations, covering 83 subjects, took place from February 17 to March 11. Of the total candidates, 14,08,546 were male students, while over 10 lakh were female students. The evaluation process is equally large in scale, with nearly 1.56 crore answer sheets being assessed.

The second phase of board examinations is tentatively set to be held from May 5 to May 20, and only those students who appeared in the February–March exams will be eligible to take part. The board has already outlined detailed eligibility criteria for this second examination cycle.
