NEW DELHI: As per various reports, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) was expected to declare the CBSE term 1 result 2022 in the first week of February, however, the board has not yet confirmed the CBSE result date. Students have been demanding clarity on the result date saying that it affects their preparation and also requested the board to cancel the CBSE term 2 exam 2022.

Amid speculations over the CBSE term 1 result date, the board has been warning students of fake notices stating when CBSE Class 10, 12 term 1 result 1 2021-22 will be declared at cbseresults.nic.in.
Along with the results, the board usually announces the overall pass percentage, number of students appeared in Class 10, 12 board exam, pass percentage, and region-wise performance of students. The CBSE did not announce the toppers list last year, as the board declared the result through alternative assessment criteria after it cancelled the exam due to COVID-19 pandemic situation.

The previous year, the CBSE Class 12th recorded a pass percentage of 99.37%, which is 10.59% more than the board's performance in 2020. A total of 88.78% students passed the exam in 2020.
Among all 16 regions, Trivandrum recorded the highest pass percentage of 99.89% followed by Bengaluru and Chennai. Also, boys performed well than girls in CBSE Class 12 last year.

CBSE Class 10 recorded highest-ever pass percentage of 99.04% last year. More than 2 lakh students have scored 90% and more marks this year and 57,824 students have secured 95% and more marks.
99.24% of girls who registered for the CBSE Class 10 exam 2021 were declared pass while the pass percentage of boys was at 98.89%. In CBSE region-wise results, Trivandrum topped with 99.99%, followed by Bengaluru and Chennai. Guwahati is at the lowest among all 16 regions of CBSE.
