NEW DELHI: The Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat has announced the Centralized Counseling for MTech (CCMT) 2024 seat allotment result for round 1 today, June 12. Candidates who have registeref for the counselling can access the CCMT 2024 seat allotment result by visiting the official website ccmt.admissions.nic.in.

Candidates will be required to enter their GATE 2024 registration Id, password and security pin to access the CCMT 2024 round 1 seat allotment result. As per the counseling schedule, Candidates who are shortlisted on the CCMT 2024 round 1 have the option for seat withdrawal till June 18. The deadline for verification of documents is June 19.

CCMT 2024 Seat Allotment Result Round 1: Seat booking fee

According to the CCMT 2024 counseling schedule, candidates are required to pay the seat acceptance fee for round 1 by June 18. The CCMT 2024 seat acceptance fee is Rs 30,000. Candidates can pay the CCMT 2024 seat booking fee through debit card, credit card, UPI and net banking.

If the candidate does not pay the seat acceptance fee, their seat allotment will be automatically canceled, and they will not be considered for further rounds of allotment. The candidate must provide proof of payment of the seat acceptance fee when reporting to the allocated institute. Only after paying the seat acceptance fee, candidates will be able to download the Provisional Seat Allotment Letter (PSAL), upload the required documents, and submit their willingness online.

Options after CCMT 2024 seat allotment

Candidates will have the following options after being allotted a seat through CCMT counselling 2024.

  • Freezing: Candidates who are content with their assigned seats should use this option to secure their seats.
  • Sliding: If applicants desire a higher-ranked course within the same institute in subsequent allocation rounds, they should choose the sliding option.
  • Floating: Candidates who prefer to wait for seat assignments in higher-preference courses at different institutes should opt for the floating option.
