CCMT 2025 special round counselling registration begins at ccmt.admissions.nic.in; choice filling till July 17

National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal has opened the registration window for the Centralised Counselling for MTech, MArch, and MPlan (CCMT) 2025 special round counselling. Eligible candidates can register for the CCMT special round counselling 2025 through the official website ccmt.admissions.nic.in.

The last date to register for the CCMT 2025 special round counselling is July 15. The institute is conducting the CCMT 2025 special round of counselling to fill seats that remain vacant after the completion of regular rounds. A tentative list of vacant seats for the SR has been published on the CCMT website.

During the CCMT 2025 special round registration period, candidates will also be able to fill in and lock their choices of institutes and programmes in order of preference. The choices submitted during this process will be considered for seat allotment in the special rounds. The last date to exercise the CCMT 2025 special round choice filling is July 17.

Who is eligible for CCMT 2025 special round counselling?

Candidates eligible to register for the Special Rounds fall under one of the following four categories:

• Type 1: Candidates who did not register for the CCMT regular rounds but meet the eligibility criteria are eligible to participate in the CCMT special rounds.
• Type 2: Candidates who participated in the regular rounds and were allotted a seat—regardless of whether they later withdrew—can take part in the special rounds by completing fresh registration and choice filling.
• If such candidates were admitted to their finally allotted institute and did not withdraw, their existing seat will be retained if no new seat is allotted during the special rounds. However, if a new seat is allotted, the previous seat will be cancelled.
• Type 3: Candidates who took part in the regular rounds but did not receive any seat allotment are also eligible to participate in the special rounds. They will be required to register again and submit a fresh set of choices.
• Type 4: Candidates who were allotted a seat in the regular rounds but whose seat was cancelled during document verification may also participate in the special rounds, provided they continue to satisfy the eligibility criteria. They will need to register afresh and fill in their choices again.
