KEAM 2025 counselling begins; option entry open till July 16 at cee.kerala.gov.in

The Office of the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, has commenced the registration and option entry process for the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) 2025. Eligible candidates can register for the KEAM Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) 2025 and complete the option entry through the official website at cee.kerala.gov.in.

The KEAM option entry facility window will remain open till July 16. The KEAM option entry process is mandatory for admission to engineering courses offered by government, aided, autonomous, government cost-sharing and private self-financing colleges across the state for the academic year 2025-26.

As per the official schedule, the KEAM 2025 provisional allotment list will be published on July 17, and the first phase of seat allotment results will be declared on July 18. Candidates allotted seats will have to remit the prescribed fee either online or at Head Post Offices in Kerala from July 18 to July 21.

“Candidates who fail to pay the fees on or before the prescribed date will lose their allotment as well as all the existing options in the stream to which the allotment belongs. The options once lost will not be available in the next phase,” the official notice said.

KEAM Counselling 2025: Registration, allotment fee

To register for the KEAM 2025 admission process, a registration fee of Rs 2,000 is applicable, which will be adjusted against the tuition fee for candidates who are admitted. For candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Eligible Communities (OEC), and those eligible for fee concession as per government norms, the registration fee is Rs 500.

Candidates who are allotted seats in government cost-sharing, autonomous, or self-financing colleges are required to pay a token fee of Rs 8,000. Those admitted to government, aided, or autonomous institutions will have to pay the full course fee at the time of seat allotment. SC, ST, OEC candidates allotted government seats are required to pay only Rs 500. However, if they are allotted merit, full-fee or management quota seats, they will have to pay the token fee of Rs 8,000, as fee concession does not apply to these categories.
