CG PET Counselling 2026 registration begins for BTech on June 30; first allotment on July 10

CGDTE has announced the complete schedule for three rounds of online counselling for BTech admissions; candidates can register at cgdte.admissions.nic.in, by July 6
The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Chhattisgarh, has announced the online counselling schedule for admission to Bachelor of Technology (BTech) programmes for the 2026-27 academic session. The CG PET counselling registration process for the first round will begin on June 30 and continue till July 6, 2026.
According to the official notification, eligible candidates will have to complete the online CG PET registration and choice filling process through the counselling portal at cgdte.admissions.nic.in.
The first merit list will be published on July 7, while candidates can modify their choices on July 8. The first seat allotment result will be declared on July 10, and admissions against the allotted seats will be held from July 11 to July 15.

If a seat is allotted, candidates will have to visit the assigned institute for document verification. The CG PET BTech admission will be confirmed only after the documents are verified and approved.
DTE said that each candidate can submit only one online application for a programme. Candidates who have trouble submitting their application can visit the nearest facilitation centre for help.

According to the notification, candidates who accept admission in one round and take part in the next round will automatically lose their earlier admission if they are allotted a new seat. Candidates can also change or rearrange their college and course choices during the choice-editing period.
