NEW DELHI: The Chandigarh University annual technical festival kicked off today. All India Council Of Technical Education (AICTE) chairman Anil D Sahasrabudhe attended the inauguration ceremony.
AICTE in a social media post on Twitter said: “Anil D.Sahasrabudhe is an eminent guest at the #TechInvent2021 as students get to showcase their talent on a grand stage.”

The festival will last two days and end on September 4 and winners of the various technical events will be awarded prizes worth Rs 20 lakhs on the last day.

The chief guest and guest of honour for the event were the general president of the Indian Science Congress Association (ISC) Vijay Laxmi Saxena and cofounder of the Israel Space Agency (ISA) Chaim Eshed along with others.
The event gives students a chance to showcase their talent before leaders from across the world who will also mentor them.
The three-day national level congregation is a tech event where young minds from all over India take part and showcase their talent in their respective fields. The tech fest has completed six editions.
The event includes a total of 59 technical events in fields such as engineering, management, mass communication, hotel management, fine arts, law, science & technology, fashion designing, industrial design, and architecture.
