Odisha School Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash reportedly said that a proposal has been sent to CHSE to reschedule Odisha Class 12 science exam dates as students pointed towards unavailability of sufficient time gap between two exams for preparation.
“Preparations are on for the smooth conduct of the Plus 2 examination. As there is just a single day gap for the mathematics paper, many students have requested to change the schedule so that they can get more time for preparation. I have asked the CHSE to look into the matter and if possible, necessary steps will be taken in this regard,” Dash was quoted as saying in one of the reports.
“Students of 1586 colleges will appear for the annual Plus-2 board exams this year. The exams will be conducted in 1148 centres across the State. CCTVs will be installed in every exam centre,” he informed.
As per the CHSE Odisha notice, the Class 12 board exams 2022 will be conducted in offline mode and there will be one shift everyday. The board exams will start at 9am. Over 3.2 lakh students in Arts, Science, Commerce and Vocational streams are expected to appear for the exams, as per the report.
Besides, all practical board exams 2022 will be conducted internally by the schools with their own teachers. Moreover, 20 percent weightage will be given to the performance of students in both theory and practicals in quarter-end exams which were held by the schools internally, the report further said.
