Class 10 and 12 exams for Feb 28 and 29 postponed for NE Delhi: CBSE

NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has postponed board exams scheduled to be held on February 28 and 29 for centres in northeast Delhi.

In a statement released on Thursday, the board also announced that exams will be held as per schedule from March 2 in all centres.

Board exams were scheduled for Classes 10 and 12 in 69 centres on February 28 and 86 centres on February 29. Exams in the rest of Delhi will continue as per schedule.

The Delhi High Court on Wednesday had asked CBSE to publish a long schedule for exams in the violence-hit northeast district.
