In the first allotment list, NLSIU Bengaluru , NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, and West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (WBNUJS), Kolkata recorded the highest CLAT cut-off for the five-year integrated law programmes .
Candidates allotted seats in the CLAT 2nd allotment round are required to pay the confirmation fee between 10 am on January 22 and 1 pm on January 29. The CLAT third allotment list will be published on February 5 at 10 am.
There will be a total of five rounds of counselling. If any candidate has exercised the freeze option and taken admission at the allocated NLU in any of the five rounds, but withdrawn the admission subsequently after May 30, an amount of Rs 5,000 will be deducted and confirmation fee will be forfeited.
CLAT UG Counselling 2026: Documents required
Candidates will have to upload the soft or scanned copy of the following documents during the admission process.
- Class 10 statement of marks
- CLAT admit card
- Class 12 statement of marks.
- Character certificate/ conduct certificate from the educational institution last attended.
- Transfer or migration certificate.
- Caste certificate if applied and allotted under reserved category seats.
- PwD certificate, if applicable.
- Domicile or residence certificate.
- Other supporting documents to claim your seat for the category you have applied.
CLAT 2026 2nd Merit List: Category-wise cut-offs
NLSIU Bengaluru and NALSAR Hyderabad continue to remain highly competitive, while NLIU Bhopal, WBNUJS Kolkata, and NLU Jodhpur have relaxed the minimum CLAT cut-off for the second allotment round.
